This morning Kristie and I bundled up our kids in warm clothes, hats, and rain boots to go strawberry picking at Applewood Orchard in Lakeville. Summer so far this year has been very unseasonable with more cool temps, rain, wind, and over cast days outnumbering hot and sunny ones. Kristie and I realized it was prime berry picking time right now and we both had the day open, so we jumped on it. How very fun it was watching the kids skipping along the rows of berries and being amazed each strawberry was they picked.
Today we got two very sweet things- a great memory and lots of yummy strawberries!
