Valentine's Day 2012

Valentine's Day 2012- Our first one in KY...We got an inch of snow which caused a 2 hour delay for school. Yes, this seems very crazy but I was prepared for this kind of thing because my neighbors had warned me how it takes very little for school to be delayed of cancelled here.

We took advantage of the perfectly sticky snow and made our 2012 snowman/snowwoman. Kids had fun playing in the snow while waiting for the school bus. Craig came home from work with a beautiful bouquet of a dozen roses for me. Caleb and Ava had lots of fun handing out their Valentines at school and then after school they opened there Valentine's that came in the mail. I had just had Ava in for her 5 year pictures a couple weeks ago and the studio had a special going on where we could get the cute Valentine cards of Caleb & Ava as you see in the last picture below. Sweet day full of red, pink, candy, roses, snowmen and lots of love!

February 2012 Snow- Sledding

We had another Kentucky dusting of snow, but as always we will take it! We headed over to the hill by the pond in our neighborhood just across the street from us. It was a biting wind kind of cold day, but Caleb & Ava didn't see to care a bit and had a blast going up and down the hill. And of course lots of snow angels were made as always. When we were all done and came inside, my hot chocolate drinker- Ava, drank it up- yummy homemade style with marshmallows:)
