Two Saturday's ago we took a drive over to Lexington and enjoyed the beautiful day at Boyd's Orchard. Three hours were spent there and they flew by with so much fun we had!

Halloween Party at the Zoo!
This evening Craig and I took Caleb & Ava a.k.a. Pirate & Ariel, to 'The World's Largest Halloween Party' right here at the Louisville Zoo! This was free to us as zoo members, and we really didn't know what to expect. Wow, were we ever so impressed by the enormous amount of time and detail put into this. People dressed up in character from everything from Disney Princesses, Toy Story, Candy Land, Flintstones, Nemo, Alice and Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Super Heroes, Shrek and more! There was face painting, trick or treating, hay mazes, and kids dressed up so cute in just about every costume you could imagine. With all the themed displays and real life characters, Craig and I left there comparing it in a way to a mini Disney World. Can only imagine how much fun the kids will have at the real Disney World some day!
