The 1st day of summer vacation was today and what a fun one it was! It started out with Caleb, Ava and I meeting up with Kristie, Mallory and Mikayla this morning at a fun park in Savage we had never been to. From there, Kristie went home to nap Mikayla, while I brought Mallory, Caleb and Ava back to our house. After playing at home for a while, we took Jada on a walk and brought our butterfly nets, to which we walked to the McColl Pond Park- aka Frog & Hippo Park. After looking for butterflies in the butterfly garden and playing at the park we walked back home. The cousins did a little resting, snacking, and a Curious George cartoon. We then were energized for some more adventure....so I drove the cousins out to the MN Zoo where we met up with Kristie and Mikayla. The nice cool temperature and non-busy zoo, made for a great visit. What a super start to the all the other summer fun to come:)
