Tonight was Caleb's first night of T-ball. He got his orange shirt, #11 on Team Davanni's 2. And he even gets to be on the same team as his friend Jack from our neighborhood. Caleb has been so excited for tball to start, and did he ever have fun! Tonight was practice, as will the next couple weeks be, until their first game on July 7.
In between kite flying at the noon hour and tball practice this evening, we went over to Mallory and Mikayla's to play. After the rain we had today, Kristie and I knew the park would probably be nice and wet, sloppy, and perfect for fun kids play So, we changed the kids into clothes that didn't matter how wet or dirty they got. We then walked up to the park and watched as the cousins had an absolute blast splashing, jumping, scooping, and playing in the water and sand. Most definitely a wonderful memory these cousins will remember always.
I have been waiting for a good windy day to take the kids to fly a kite for the first time. We've tried in the past, but just never had the perfect windy day to get the kite up in the air. Today, after lunch, there was the wind we had been waiting for, and wow did the kids think it was so much fun running with the kite flying high up in the air.
