We will call it Heather Green Creek. There is a creek in our neighborhood that goes on and on for probably a few miles in the woods starting just behind the pond by our house. Caleb has taken adventures through it with his friend Simon before. A couple weeks ago the kids and I went on a group creek adventure with our next door neighbors Kelly and her kids, along with Kyle from our cul de sac. The pictures below are when just the kids and I went on our own Creek walk on a late summer afternoon. It is so fun to watch the kids explore, step across the trickling water, check out the rocks, butterflies, squirrels, birds, and weave our way over and under whatever is along the way.
