We have been living here in Kentucky now for two Thanksgivings, and both of them have been spent with our absolutely amazing next door neighbors and friend's Aaron and Kelly Royster. This year Aaron and Kelly had a little turkey competition in which they both cooked their own turkey and seasoned it uniquely how they wanted to. Emma wanted to pick a winner so she had us all anonymously write down the name of who's turkey we liked better....but in the end it was pretty even and they both were winners with their super yummy turkeys. The day was relaxing as Thanksgivings should be. The kids played basketball in the driveway, air hockey in the basement, Ava gave Gracie LOTS of attention as always, did some Let's Dance on the Wii, and Kelly and I showed off our matching sparkly red toe nails that we had done together earlier in the week at a nail salon.
It was a beautiful day spent with beautiful friends and being ever so thankful.
